J2 Modular Annex

Requirement:
  • United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) constructed a new facility
  • They required access to multiple networks which regulations required not be interconnected
  • The nature of the operations in the customer facility required cleared personnel to perform the installation of the cable infrastructure
  • The various networks to be installed in the facility required extensive copper and fiber infrastructure


The Solution – USCENTCOM J2 Modular Annex

Red/Black provided BICSI and Corning Fiber certified installers to integrate fiber and LAN cabling into the CENTCOM facility. The Red/Black Team installed approximately 48 miles of fiber-optic and CAT-5 cable supported by 550 feet of Main and Spoke tray. Following the cable and tray installations, the Red/Black Team installed and tested over 3,312 fiber optic MT-RJ and 456 CAT-5 connections.
