Innovative Solutions Consulting, Inc., (ISC) a local engineering and technical services firm headquartered in Southern Maryland recently received an additional $2.2M worth of delivery orders on their Battle Command Systems-Mobile (BCS-M) Contract.
These delivery orders are a part of the company's $30 million contract with the Air Force Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, to provide a versatile multi-user voice communications switch to support the mobile command and control systems now being integrated for the Air Force by NAVAIR at Webster Field.
The BCS-M is a replacement for obsolete systems used for tactical execution of the air battle.
The additional money awarded to ISC will be used to modify the human-machine interface, add enhanced capability to the communications switch subsystem, and to build two additional systems for delivery to the Air Force by 1 Dec.
"ISC is pleased to be a part of the BSC-M Program," said Mike Aloisio, ISC's president and CEO, "providing the nation's warfighters with a highly capable, state-of-the-art voice communications system. And also for being in a position of not only working with his new Air Force customer, but because of the joint nature of the Program, being able to continue to work closely with his traditional NAVAIR partners."
ISC specializes in the design, integration and fielding of mobile, modular and fixed site communications and electronic systems for Defense Department and other Government agencies.
